Milton
has a strong domestic as well as International presence. In the overseas
market, Milton laminates are exported to various countries especially in
the Middle East, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Milton's patterns and
brandname are household names in these countries and a major portion of
the market is with Milton.
In the Far East, in some African countries and in Latin America, the product is well accepted and customers swear by Milton relying on the quality and services rendered to them. As can be seen from the graph above, Milton has shown a consistent upward trend in exports vis-a-vis their total sales in the period between 1992 and present. Milton has felt more responsibility towards total quality since receiving Export Awards for three consecutive years begining from 1995.
Besides exports, Milton obviously has a strong domestic brand image, with distributors in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala and Maharashtra.
The group also diversified into manufacture of Coated fabrics. This endeavour has also received a good response from foreign markets and has achieved 30 % export turnover out of total turnover.
